Linda Hardy of Good Shepherd Obedience has been a dog trainer and humane educator for over 25 years.

Linda began her career at the renowned Hellen Woodward Center in San Diego. After several years, she moved to Paso Robles where she assumed the role of Humane Educator for the county of San Luis Obispo.

As the Humane Educator, Linda specialized in educating children and adults on the proper care and treatment of their pets, especially their dogs. She developed a summer program called Camp P.A.W.S. which gave children the opportunity to engage in hands-on obedience instruction through the training of "unadoptable dogs." Not only did these children learn important lessons about how to take care of their pets, but also many of the previously "unadoptable" dogs found their forever families.

While working as the Humane Educator, Linda also maintained her professional dog training business, Good Shepherd Obedience. Through the years, Linda has taught obediences to thousands of people (and their pups) through group classes and one-on-one trainings. Believing that the key to basic obedience lays in the relationship between the dogs and their owners, Linda now focuses on one-on-one, in-home training.
